Sree Poornathrayeesa Vridha Sadanam at Tripunithura in Ernakulam is a rare care home for those aged people especially for ladies (Amma). It is founded on the great vedic vision of Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam and its motto is “Serve with Love and Affection”. Every act of kindness, every deed of mercy is viewed as holy. Duties are performed unselfishly, never desirous of rewards or returns.

  • Sree Poornathrayeesa Sthree Samrakshana Samithi

The Sthree Samrakshana Samithi is a recent addition to the activities of the Sadanam. It is formed to address the multi dimensional issues that women experience in public places and in private circles. It is also conceived as an open forum where women can voice their views on life of our times, closely following the latest trends in the socio-political and economic spheres. The aim is to assist the helpless and the needy women to rebuild their own lives and take charge of their own future, restoring within them a sense of self worth and confidence. The Samithi will be eminently grateful to receive your valuable suggestions and comments.

  • My visit to this vridhasadanam was an un-forgettable experience. I wish this organization may come up with many such charitable activities so that it may become a pioneer center that spreads high values in charity and may become a shelter for the desperate.

  • With more confidence and courage, I wish this Vridha Sadanam may become the ray of hope to lots of mothers who have no place to go or have no one to look after.

  • I had the opportunity to visit Sree Poornathrayeesa Vridha Sadanam. One thing that I would like to share is that the volenteers here are performing their duties to the aged mothers who are here with extreme dedication and sincerity that is very rare to see nowadays. In the times to come more aged and abandoned mothers may receive these kind services.
